Statement on the Japan - UK Women's Economic Empowerment Seminar

Japan hosted a virtual seminar for British women entrepreneurs, investors and business owners seeking to increase trade and investment with Japan.

This continues an ongoing series of collaborative activities between the UK and Japan to uphold the commitments set out in the Women’s Economic Empowerment chapter of the UK-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).  It supports the delivery of the joint commitment to enhancing women’s ability to fully access and benefit from the opportunities created by this Agreement, and to reduce the systemic barriers faced by women seeking to trade internationally.

New 'global growth team' appointed by Trade Secretary

A new 'global growth team' of UK Trade Envoys has been appointed by the Trade Secretary to drive UK exports and investments as the Government pulls every lever available to drive economic growth.

Invitation to Participate in the Yorkshire Manufacturing Business Survey 2025

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority has jointly commissioned a “Yorkshire Manufacturing Deep Dive” with their partner combined authorities across Yorkshire, which KADA Research are delivering.  The KADA team are undertaking the research for what is a significant opportunity to explore the sector’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities, while also identifying ways to enhance collaboration, share lessons, and build stronger linkages across Yorkshire. 

This business survey will take approximately 8-10 minutes.  Your responses will inform recommendations for regional business support, skills development, and sector growth strategies.  Responses are confidential and will be aggregated for analysis purposes.
