Chigiri-e is the art of Japanese hand torn paper collage. I will take you through the step-by-step process of designing and creating your own unique chigiri-e.
This workshop coincides with the current exhibition "Remembering Hiroshima and Nagasaki" at the Oriental Museum in Durham. We'll be making chigiri-e inspired by the themes of 'peace' and 'hope.'
