My next Apprenticeships & Jobs Fair - Friday, 10th February 2023 - 11:00-16:00 at Derwentside College.
Whether you’re starting your first job or thinking of changing career there are lots of apprenticeships and jobs available. I can’t wait to see as many of you there as possible. Apprenticeships drive productivity and growth in our economy as well as allowing you to earn while you learn.
Apprenticeships are also great for local employers, enabling them to get staff with bespoke skills and needs that match local businesses needs and who tend to stay longer with their employer as loyalty is returned.
Following on from the success of my previous jobs and apprenticeships fairs in the Three Towns area and Consett, I am returning to Derwentside College to repeat the feat! Previously, these fairs have been massively effective at connecting local people with local employers - literally hundreds of people have got jobs and apprenticeships following these fairs.
Already, 14 employers are signed up and counting. (Please message me if you’d like to come along to this or a future one via www.richardholden.org.U.K./contact). They are all extremely keen to offer their apprenticeship vacancies, you just have to turn up. Please get down there yourself but also tell all of your friends and family!
It will be at Derwentside College, Front Street, Consett DDH8 5EE on Friday 10th February running from 11am to 4pm.
