Our Remaking Beamish project is bringing a new 1950s era to the museum, as well as expanding our Georgian area, and this is your chance to get involved as we look to recruit for the following roles:
- Keeper of Social History (Maternity Cover) (£27,190 per annum) - Closes Thursday 8th September 2022. We are looking for an individual who will oversee the daily visitor engagement within the 1900s Town, 1950s Town and Colliery Village, ensuring that visitors interact with diverse stories from across the North East, through immersive, engagement activities. - Cleaner (seasonal) (£9.71 per hour) - Closes Friday 9th September 2022. We are looking for seasonal staff to join the Cleaning Team at Beamish, The Living Museum of the North. More details can be found here.
