We've just spent a lovely morning at Beamish Museum for the official opening of Coronation Park and Recreation Ground within the new 1950's town. The park includes a miniature golf course, giant draughts board, football pitch and a playground. It was officially opened by Mrs Sue Snowdon, Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Co Durham and Barbara Wood from Durham Amateur Football Trust. 🇬🇧
