Apheya Animal Nutrition based in County Durham provides advice, training and technical services in animal nutrition to farmers, feed and food businesses and their associated support services across with UK & and abroad and as with so many businesses this year have adapted their support to the farming and feed industry.
With the help of Elm Marketing Solutions and NBSL, it took six weeks of planning, recording videos and trials before their new online Feed Hygiene Course was launched in July 2020.
Following a successful test period, a new online course was launched enabling attendees to undertake sessions at a time that suited them – finishing with an examination to ensure knowledge and understanding – being submitted and signed off by to the Apheya team for certification.
Since the launch over 30 courses have now been attended and graded following the automated end of course exam. This added service improvement now allows Apheya to offer one of their most popular training courses to customers worldwide without any travel limitations and the team are keen to develop further online courses in this successful format in the future.
