We're hard at work putting a plan together to ensure Father Christmas can visit Tanfield again this year... BUT, we just need a little more time to confirm everything and ensure we are Covid-19 Secure and follow all government guidance. It will be a little different to previous years but our volunteers will make sure it still has the same Christmas magic!

In the meantime, fancy a fix of steam, but haven’t pre booked your tickets? No problem we have a limited number of "Turn-up and Travel" tickets from East Tanfield station (post code DH9 9UY).
Tickets cost £30 per compartment (max of 8 people per compartment) and include a FREE guide book and kids activity on arrival, and tea, coffee or juice at Andrews House station. Check "Train Times" and availability here.
