Land of Oak & Iron recently sent an invite out to local artists and makers to see if anyone would be interested in taking part in our new 'Meet the Maker' events.
We have had such a great response from a range of creative people including illustrators, willow artists, painters, glass makers and potters.
We now have artists and makers booked in for our 'Meet the Maker' events well into December!
Each artist/maker will have their own solo show in our gazebo outside the Heritage Centre near the Courtyard area.
Meet Monique - Saturday, 22nd September
Come and meet local children's author and illustrator Monique Scott of 'Unique Monique Creative' - just drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Monique will be available to chat about her children's book 'Two Little Mice' and her illustration work, you can also purchase signed copies of her book, along with other artwork, craft activity packs and greetings cards.
Don't forget café shrub is open for both take-out and table service from 9am every day.
Treat yourself to a cuppa', freshly baked cake and sweet treats, breakfast or lunch.
